DaVero Farms & Winery is a destination like no other.
Our certified Biodynamic® farms are home to olive groves, vineyard, fruit trees, bountiful produce, as well as chickens, sheep, and pigs. Our realization that this is a Mediterranean climate has led us to focus exclusively on Italian grape and olive varietals, and the results are utterly delicious.
The easiest way to visit us is to swing by our tasting room just outside Healdsburg, California at 766 Westside Road , in the heart of Sonoma County’s legendary Dry Creek Valley. You’ll experience a guided tasting of everything we make — wines, olive oils, jams — and learn about what it means to be certified Biodynamic®. It’s also a great spot to picnic, visit the willow room, or just wander the fields.

We think it’s more interesting – and more fun – when you learn while you’re enjoying the bounty of our farm, so we offer a range of experiences that you can tailor to your wishes.
Tastings are by appointment Tuesdays, Wednesdays. and Thursdays. No appointment is required other days. We request that you call ahead for groups of five or more. Taste our current releases as you learn about our history and the importance of Biodynamic farming.

For a more in-depth DaVero experience, we offer our guests a private farm tour and seated tasting experience. We will begin by exploring the estate vineyards and gardens, discuss our Biodynamic farming practices, and introduce you to our farm animals. Then, we'll sit down together in one of our private tasting rooms for a focused tasting of our highly allocated wines, estate olive oils, and balsamic vinegar. A seasonal charcuterie plate is available upon request.
There is much more to DaVero than the average visitor will see. That is why we created the most intimate and in-depth way to explore our farms, the Farm to Bottle experience. This Biodynamic, farming-focused tasting starts by bringing guests to the Home Farm where the vision for DaVero began 35 years ago. At the Home Farm, we will tour the olive groves, estate vineyards, and gardens while learning about our reliance on natural farming.
The tour continues to the winery property, where we'll explore the vineyards and gardens, discuss Biodynamic farming, and introduce you to our farm animals. Then, we'll sit down together in our private boardroom within the winery flower gardens for a focused tasting of our best wines, olive oils, and a seasonal charcuterie plate. This experience will show you how passionate farming methods translate to the finished bottle on your table.
We strongly recommend wearing walking shoes that may (if you're lucky) get a bit muddy...

This tasting experience is an introduction to DaVero and is hosted within our tasting room where guests enjoy a flight of our small production wines, estate olive oils, balsamic vinegar, and a chance to explore the farm, flower gardens, and winery.

The Collector’s Tour
Guests of this curated day trip along the famed Russian River & Dry Creek Valleys have the opportunity to experience three producers of extremely limited age-worthy wines ranging from single vineyard Pinot Noir to classic Italian varietals and on to Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux inspired blends. The wines from Gary Farrell Winery, DaVero Farms & Winery and Lambert Bridge Winery are some of the most cellar worthy selections in the region and this is a limited opportunity for collectors to choose wines that have the potential to age five, 10 or even 20 years in their personal cellars.

Guests begin their experience high above the Russian River as the morning fog quietly burns off to reveal one of the best views in wine country. Inspired by both the view and the legacy that iconic winemaker Gary Farrell has bestowed upon their property, current winemaker Theresa Heredia and Estate Sommelier Kevin Patterson have put together a very unique tasting experience.

Our efforts are complete when nature, science and passion combine to become art in the glass. The Inspiration Tasting is a curated flight of vineyard-designate wines, including library vintages and special limited-production bottlings. Personally hosted in The Inspiration Room by an Estate Sommelier, this shared educational experience features six highly allocated releases of single vineyard Pinot Noir, highlighting the elegance, balance and natural acidity that is our winemaking hallmark. This wine flight is served with three “impeccable pairings” that reflect both the versatility of our wines and the bounty of Sonoma County, prepared by Chef Didier Ageorges.

Founding owners Ridgely Evers and Colleen McGlynn began DaVero with a simple idea in mind; create a farm that is agriculturally, ecologically, and economically sustainable. Starting with imported Tuscan olive trees, DaVero’s reputation grew through its award winning extra virgin olive oil. After a decade of farming olives, they began exploring possibilities with wine grapes. Being farmers first, inspiration came from California’s unique Mediterranean climate, and the decision was made to farm grapes solely from that region. With an old-world winemaking approach, the resulting wines are balanced, full-bodied, classically food-friendly, and truly age-worthy. With a very limited production of only 4,000 cases across almost 20 wines, there is a lot to taste, see, and learn while visiting DaVero.

The C.L. Lambert Family settled here a century ago and Jerry Lambert, of no relation, was drawn to this land six decades later with world-class winemaking in mind. And indeed, this beautiful haven is an ideal site to grow some of the best wine grapes in all of California.
Utmost quality demands exacting, uncompromising methods. Our limited production affords winemaker Jennifer Higgins intimate involvement and full control in every aspect of the farming and winemaking process.
Indulge in a connoisseur tasting in our stunning Cellar Room. This opulent tasting includes an enlightening discussion of our unique terroir, vintage variation, and artisanal winemaking practices.
